WordPress Appointment Scheduling

Overview

hitAppoint online appointment scheduler can be fully integrated into a WordPress-powered website. Integration includes appointments customer view in any post or page of your WordPress website, admin backend inside WordPress admin, user accounts integration and single sign-on.

hitAppoint Wordpress Plugin Installation Instructions

  1. I assume that you already have WordPress installed
  2. Create a new subfolder for hitAppoint in the WordPress plugins folder, i.e. wp-content/plugins/hitappoint, and upload all hitAppoint files there.
  3. Go to WordPress admin panel and proceed to “Plugins”. You will see hitAppoint there, choose “Activate”, hitAppoint will be automatically installed.
  4. Now you can add hitAppoint customer view to any post or page of your WordPress-powered website. Add this code: [[HITAPPOINT]] to a page or a post that you would like to be the customer side of your appointment scheduling system.
  5. For example, create a new page named Appointments, and enter this [[HITAPPOINT]] tag into the page content. When your customer goes to this page, hitAppoint will be shown embedded there.
  6. The hitAppoint admin panel is also fully integrated into the WordPress admin, you will see a link “hitAppoint” in your WordPress admin panel.
