Upgrading to version 4.5
To upgrade your current 4.4 installation, please delete the core folder, then upload it again from the new 4.5 version. Going to your hitAppoint page, you will be automatically redirected to the upgrade screen.
Please make sure that before running the upgrade procedure, you click the link to download your current data backup file.
When upgrading to version 4.5, please have a look at the changes it introduces:

The core change is the introduction of the new “resource” item which is a bookable entity – the “provider” in the current 4.4 version. Now the resource can be anything that can be booked – a staff member, a room, a tennis court etc. When you upgrade from 4.4 version, your current providers will be transformed into resources

The admin view to manage and create appointments has been reworked.

Now services have only one duration option, so if you have services with several sessions, every session will be transformed into a new service.
