Varying working hours

My employees work varying working hours each week.  Right now, they have to set a schedule and change it each week.  It would be nice to have indvidual control of each week of the month.

Re: Varying working hours

hmm, this would be pretty hard to implement. Currently we have the "Working Hours Exception" feature that allows to create special hours for some date but it seems it will not be very convenient to you. Is it possible to explain what would be an ideal solution for your setup?

Re: Varying working hours

We use the schedule to set production appointments for some talent we use in videos.  The cameramen and the talent are all independent contractors, we just provide the studio.  So the basic workflow has three parts.

1st, the cameramen input which hours they will be available in the studio for next week.

2nd, we tell the talent which production sessions we need them to complete and by what date

3rd, the talent schedule production time based on what the cameramen have listed as available time.

The schedule is basically an easy way for cameramen and talent to coordinate schedules.  The script really works well except that we usually put the due date two weeks out, so if the talent schedule that far out, they sometimes schedule appointments that won't really be available in two weeks because the cameramen change their hours.  Right now, we just reschedule the appointments that have conflicts, but it would be nice to have it all happen automatically.
