Am I missing something but I don't see any facility online for a customer to either cancel or re-schedule an appointment time he/she made?
I don't see it even for Admin provider.
I do see move to new location, reassign to another provider, delete appointment but no reschedule of appointment time...
I do see an email template of "Your Appointment Cancelled By Customer"
side note >> "canceled" is the US version
"cancelled" is the British spelling

the reschedule action is not yet available, while the cancel from customer is there. When a customer is logged in, she sees the list of appointments. The Cancel link appears with a mouse over the appointment in the list.

If I carefully mouseover a particular part at bottom of white text block.
I can tell you it will be rather difficult for people to pick up this as it is too hidden.
I guess my issue of not seeing is compounded because I don't see a hyperlink with underscore because I get just a text message below:
"You cannot cancel or reschedule this appointment now "
Even that aside, is there a setting I must turn on to allow customers to cancel their appointments.
The appointment is for tomorrow at 4pm so it is not close.

Hello Dean,
there is a setting for a service that defines when a customer can cancel appointment, it is in "Services -> click one to edit -> Cancellation/Reschedule Deadline". By default it is set to 1 day so if less than one day remains before the appointment, it can't be canceled.

I spoke too soon.
It appears to work, maybe sometimes actually does work, but in some cases (haven't figured out which ones) the following error occurs. After I make all the new selections, for available providers/locations/services, clicking Confirm Appointment barfs this out:

By the way, clicking on the link below that error message SAYS the appointment was rescheduled, but in fact the appointment I was trying to rescheudle now has no user assigned to it (but the appointment still exists) and the new time slot is empty.
