First off, the software does what its supposed to do fairly well.  Where it is lacking is in documentation, and code-less configurability.  I am an experienced developer, so I have been able to easily make little changes that I require, but those changes are directly in the code and will cause me to have to take extra care when upgrading later on.  It would be better if there were more knobs to turn either in the web admin, or via an "advanced-config.php" for those of us content to hack but not content to add upgrade responsibility to our plates.
