Booking appointments for next week?

Hi!

I'm evaluating the system, and I have a question.

In the demo, it's only possible to book appointments during the current week - when I look at dates in coming weeks, it says "Sorry, no available hours this day" for every day. When I look at the staff schedules, both staff members are on duty and have no appointments on these days, so it would seem to me that they should be available for booking.

Is this due to some setting that can be changed? My client wants their customers to have the ability to book in advance.

Best regards,
Hanna Johansson

Re: Booking appointments for next week?

Sorry, found the answer myself! It's a setting for the service selected (min and max days that it can be booked in advance), so that's OK.

I have another question: I understand the system is designed and tested for a small number of users. But are there any reasons why we couldn't modify it to work for a somewhat larger number of employees, say a hundred or so? Would it become really slow, or would it just look awkward on pages that list all the employees in one place (like the calendar view that shows everybody's bookings)? We are expecting to make quite a few changes to the user interface but we would like to use the underlying database structure and functions as far as possible.

Re: Booking appointments for next week?

Hello Hanna,
thank you for your interest. Yes, as you put it right, the limit in the number of employees is in the visual presentation, we designed the software to keep in mind that it will be used mostly by small businesses with up to 5-10 employees. Regarding the underlying database and code structure, it is not a problem to handle hundreds of staff members.
