Apart from one-to-one appointments like massage sessions, doctor checkouts, hair styling, etc, hitAppoint also provides a convenient way to schedule classes which more than one customer can attend at a time. Let’s have a look at a small example. We will create a configuration to book Yoga classes. We will start with creating a new service and mark it as the class type:
Go on to configure other details such as duration and price, then click Create. A new class will be added.
Now you will need to configure the booking availability of this new class. For example, you will provide your Yoga class every Monday and Thursday at 1:00pm, and up to 5 clients can attend every class.
So you have configured the availability of your Yoga class every Monday and Thursday at 1:00pm. If you now go to Manage >> Calendar, you will see something like this:
Your customers now can book your Yoga class online. You can also book this class for a customer through your admin panel.
After you have created a booking for this class, your day view will change to show that you have a customer for this class. Clicking on that appointment block, you will see a more detailed view.
In the Customers tab you will see the customers already booked in for this class. Also you will see how many seats are left and you can easily schedule more customers by clicking the Create Appointment link.
Additionally you can configure an automatic option to reject appointments if certain number of seats not booked by certain time for this class.
