Integrating With Authorize.Net Payments

hitAppoint can be integrated with the Authorize.Net payment system. Authorize.Net module is built-in in the main hitAppoint distribution starting from version 4.1.2.

To enable this option, some actions required. From hitAppoint side, it is a question of couple of clicks, while Authorize.Net part will require some configuration.

  1. In hitAppoint admin, go to Payment Settings -> Payment Gateways -> authorizenet::Activate. You will see a form with your Authorize.Net account settings. To complete this form, you will need to go to your Authorize.Net control panel to get these settings:
    • API Login ID
    • Transaction Key
    • MD5-Hash
    Also you will need to set this setting in the Authorize.Net control panel:
    • MD5-Hash
  2. Log in to Authorize.Net control panel, then click Account.

  3. Go to API Login ID and Transaction Key link under Security Settings.

  4. Go to MD5-Hash link under Security Settings.

  5. Go to Relay Response link under Transaction Response Settings.
